Structural Dynamics
The structural dynamics platform is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware that enables frequency response measurements of academic and industrial structures using various types of excitation (impact hammer, vibration pot, seismic table). Using data acquisition systems and specialized calculation software, numerous studies are conducted: modal analyses of structures, synthesized frequency response functions, test-calculation correlations (finite element method), and modifications to structures and their dynamic behavior at hazardous frequencies through the addition of masses or tuned dynamic dampers.
