I would like to thank all the professors and researchers who supported me throughout my four years of study and three years of doctoral research. I owe much of my personal and professional success to them.

What motivated you to enroll at ENS Paris-Saclay, and in the Mechanical Engineering DER program in particular?

The school's reputation and renown stem from its teacher-training program and its focus on scientific research. This remains quite exceptional among all the engineering schools for which students can apply through the PSI entrance exam.

Why did you choose the FESUP M2 program?

I knew I wanted to teach as soon as I entered the ENS in 2016

What are the benefits of this choice?

Passing the agrégation exam, which opens up an additional career path in the national education system upon graduation.

This program also taught me how to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in an educational context—skills I still use every day.

What stands out to you from your time at DER GM?

The courses are academically rigorous and cover scientific research at the M2 level. For a student who likes to think things through to their logical conclusion, there’s nothing better!

The faculty, with whom I’ve remained close even after leaving the ENS after seven wonderful years.

You have a doctorate—what was the topic of your dissertation?

The topic was: Simulation and control strategies for dynamic systems based on data-driven numerical models

What was the objective of the dissertation?

To improve the control of shake tables used to replicate seismic tests by monitoring the state of the tested structures in real time, thereby ensuring the success of the tests and the safety of the experimental facility.

How does your education contribute to your daily life?

It has given me scientific skills, teaching skills, and communication skills—not to mention human values.
